The Fab Five: The 5 Best Flies From Around The Internet March2-9

This is just going to be a weekly series where I showcase flies I've found from around the internet. I'm in a ton of Facebook groups and I follow a bunch of seriously great tyers on Instagram, and this is just going to be a series where I show a few that I thought were really cool this week.

1. "Mouse" by Jason Yi aka @flytyingmaniac

I was seated next to Jason Yi at the Jim Holland's Fly Tying Jam in Califon, NJ yesterday and he tied up these super cool little mice patterns. That material is pretty sweet- but if you want to know what it is, you'll have to ask him yourself. Fly Tyer Secrets.

2. Sculpin Jig by James Bjorgo (streamer group FB)

That's a really cool concept, and I'm definitely going to be tying some in Olive, Craw Orange Brown, and Black.

3. Brown Gasolina Perdigon by Ryan Dixon

This is precision and perfect. I tie really good euro nymphs, but these perdigons are perfect.

4. Split Wing Turkey Tail Nymph by Nathan Mumford aka @nemumford on IG.

5. Double Deceiver by @okflyco

Nick at OkFlyco is a great tyer, and is doing big things while guiding these days. Go check him out- he ties some of the best Double Deceivers around.

If you would like to send me photos of your favorite flies, please do so via Instagram @primeflyco

Thanks and I wish you tightlines
