Soft Hackle Hare's Ear

A classic gold ribbed hare's ear soft hackle. One of the best searching patterns in all of fly fishing. Can be tied large to small, and can imitate multiple mayfly and caddis species. A classic nymph but you can apply floatant and fish it in the film, can swing it like a wet fly, and can use a Leisingring Lift to imitate an emerging insect.
