Al's Rat Midge

Al's Rat Midge

A masterclass in minimalism, Al’s Rat Midge is a legendary Northeast pattern designed specifically for impossibly selective tailwater and freestone trout. Tied on a clean, straight-shank hook, it features a slender brown thread body capped with a whisper of natural gray muskrat dubbing to perfectly mimic a vulnerable midge pupa or crippled adult trapped in the surface film.
